HubSpot asked me to create a series of content surrounding its annual State of Marketing report, which builds engagement and trust with its key audience. This piece outlined the top findings for 2026 and served as the pillar page.

  • Process: Dug into the raw survey data, sourced and interviewed 3 CMOs/VPs of Marketing as experts, and provided infographic recommendations.
  • Results: High search engine visibility and social engagement.

The Four Pillars of Workforce Readiness for the Trades

I wrote this industry guide for Interplay Learning to generate leads and edtech sales in the workforce development space. The guide breaks down the state of workforce readiness in the trades and highlights key strategies for a strong program.

  • Process: Researched, outlined content, sourced student and customer quotes, and provided layout recommendations.
  • Results: Client exceeded lead generation targets.

Knowhere Comics Case Study

Ablestar Bulk Product Editor fills a niche gap: saving Shopify owners hours by bulk editing products in their online catalog. I wrote a case study of Knowhere Comics to showcase Bulk Product Editor’s capabilities and impact. 

  • Process: Interviewed Ablestar’s customers, outlined case study, compiled results and images. 
  • Results: 40% open rate as lead story in Ablestar newsletter, sustained traffic and conversions over 2+ years.

SEO / GEO Writing

AI knowledge bases guide

I partnered with Slack to create a comprehensive, SEO- and GEO-optimized guide that positions Slack as a leading voice and solution in the AI knowledge base space. The piece needed to be visible in search engines and AI chatbots, plus explain a new concept for decision-makers.

  • Process: Researched the industry solution, Slack’s solution, and competitor products.
  • Results: The final article ranks #2 on Google, with the article and product cited by AI search engines for the topic.

Ghostwriting

Playbook for creator discovery, vetting, outreach, and casting

HubSpot runs a strong creator program and relies on writers to turn creators’ insights into polished content. I ghostwrote this playbook based on the author’s insights and voice.

  • Process: Reviewing author recordings and notes, outlining content, ghostwriting to the author’s voice.

Results: True-to-voice content, social engagement and lead generation among target audience of social media professionals.

Colarado College

Anniversary interview with NAS President Marcia McNutt

In 2024, Colorado College commissioned me to interview 10 of its most notable living alumni to commemorate its 150th anniversary. Among those was National Academy of Sciences President Marcia McNutt, whom I interviewed about her glass ceiling-shattering career in science.

  • Process: Interviewed alumni, collected photos, wrote profiles for print and online versions.
  • Results: This profile was the lead story for 150th anniversary issue of The Peak, CC’s print and online magazine, and became a powerful tool for fundraising and partnerships.
